History
An independent publisher, they were the recipient of the 2019 Independent Publisher of the Year.
She Writes Press was founded in 2012 as a response to the barriers for women writers. Kamy Wicoff and Brooke Warner wanted to found a press for women that would be a platform where they could compete legitimately.
