A novel with a great deal of humour - but unfortunately, I didn't find it funny! The author has the same time-traveling crew as her other novels and award-winning short stories - but I felt that this one fell very flat. One of my least favourite of all of the novels that have won either a Hugo or a Nebula.
I vastly preferred Blackout/All Clear and (especially) Doomsday Book. The relevant shorter fiction, including Firewatch are also amazing.
I am planning to read more of her novels.
I gave this novel one 1/2 stars because I rated it "C" when I read it.
In my rating system, a C - gets one star, and I increase by a half-star with each step up to an A+, which gets 5 stars. One half star is reserved for bombs... D+ and lower.
