Something Wicked This Way Comes is the fourth book I've read by Ray Bradbury. It was published a decade later than the other three; and it shows the maturing of bradbury's writing style. The Martian Chronicles and The Illustrated Man are both collections of stories. The Martian Chronicles and Fahrenheit 451 are both mainstays in the history of Science Fiction. I didn't care all that much for the two collections, though I can't say the stories weren't well written. Fahrenheit 451 is good, though I don't remember being struck by how good the writing is, as I was with Something Wicked This Way Comes. The prose is lyrical, with a dreamy fluid quality that makes it a joy to read, a literary analog of a Gershwin concerto. Set in small town Americana, evil comes to visit, at the hands of The Illustrated Man. This is such a good book, it's worth reading again, just for the pleasure of it.
