The Three-Body Problem

Interesting to read SF from a very foreign culture but... The dialogue is robotic, there is far too much telling rather than showing and the characters a two dimensional stereotypes. Hard to see that all the fuss over the Hugo nominations came down to this book winning. The Goblin Emperor and Ancillary Sword were, in that order, much better books.
