Survival

A quick review...this book has a main character that is a very authentic female scientist who is drawn into battle between interplanetary species. The problem is that she does not know who is the adversary and who is the victim. When Mackenzie, the protagonist, leaves Earth (very reluctantly), the story really takes off. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in the series.
