Given how long I have been reading SF, and how long this book has been sitting on my bookshelf, it is surprise how little I actually knew about it. I knew it was considered a classic, but I had it's subject matter completely wrong. Somehow I was expecting 'The Tomorrow People' but it's nothing like that, and so much better.
This is quite clearly written as three separate 'books'. The middle section, And Baby Makes Three, was my favourite. Even though the book is quite short, it is not a quick easy read but requires a lot of thought as you progress through it.
If you are a fan of classic SF, then this should be required reading.
