The Maze Runner

This is my second time now reading "The Maze Runner" I read it years ago at the age it was intended for. I can understand why people don't like this book and series, and even Dashner as an author. I don't think he writes incredibly gripping characters and some of the events that happen in his books feel incredibly superficial. But those are adult critiques coming from an adult, I think Dashner's books created magic for 10-13-year-old me and I think he's done that for many other kids as well, and that's applaud-worthy." The Maze Runner" is action-packed if nothing else. I'm re-reading these for the over a million ratings challenge and can't say I didn't enjoy this one. I do remember the series gets progressively more boring though. We'll see how it goes.
