Ringworld

Perhaps one of the most boring books I've ever finished, Ringworld boasts some of the most bland characters in the genre and the rampant sexism on display is pretty tiring. The premise feels flimsy and full of excuses and conveniences, interspersed with way too much techno-babble.

A classic? Sure. A good book? Definitely not. It being the recipient of the Hugo, Nebula and the Locus... Makes me highly question the taste of those that awarded this one so heavily.
