This Island Earth

Plenty of speculative fiction books from the past hold up over time. This is NOT one of them. I don't understand how anyone ever considered it a good book. The characters are one dimensional and uninteresting. The plot is almost non-existent. The resolution is incomplete and frankly inane. The bizarre rant against unions is complet unnecessary and frankly perplexing. I recommend staying away from this book.
