Bones of the Earth

Engaging & readable in a bestseller kind of way, but don't come here looking for anything new or unique. I read the first chapter to start with, and it was an interesting teaser. Then it takes a sharp left turn into time travel given to humanity by a superior race. There's a lot of elements and ideas thrown in here, but nothing very deep, including the characters; there are too many to build much into them. Still, it's ok as a quick read if you feel like something lightweight.
