The Circle

Its a pretty good book. I was wating for some cringy twist all the time but it didn't really happen.

Its generally about the rise of a potentally totalitarian, all-suveilling political apparatus growing from a private company, with the approval of the masses.

The protagonist is Mae Holland, who works in an internet company that owns an explosive mix of top-notch technology, market domination with drive to expansion and a lot of young, naive, yet ambitious employees who lack life experience and ethical education to judge the consequences of their beliefs and actions on a greater scale.

Its very mundane with barely any far-fetched technology.
