Pretty strange tale about gigantic aliens who invaded earth and humankind now lives in the isolation of the alien homes. The description of the human societies are very good. The analogy with humans and rats is quite clear and certainly at the end of the tale it becomes quite clear. The end of the story was a bit of a letdown (but it was a letdown for the main character as well), so I guess it kind of works in that way.
