Synopsis
This novelette originally appeared in the anthology Orbit 18 (1976), edited by Damon Knight. It can also be found in the anthologies The Best Science Fiction of the Year #6 (1977), edited by Terry Carr, Splatterpunks: Extreme Horror (1990), edited by Paul M.
