Random quote: "I think that most of us, anyway, read these stories that we know are not "true" because we're hungry for another kind of truth: the mythic truth about human nature in general, the particular truth about those life-communities that define our own identity, and the most specific truth of all: our own self-story. Fiction, because it is not about someone who lived in the real world, always has the possibility of being about oneself. " - Orson Scott Card (Ender's Game)

This week a new award was announced. The Jame Herbert award which is for horror novels.

James Herbert is one of my favourite writers. I will follow this award in the future and most likely add many of the books to the huge TBR pile I carry around in my head.

Also in the future this should be considered for inclusion on WWE.

If it's new, then we should make sure to have the nominees in the database so when ever the admin can get to the coding, all the heavy lifting with the data entry for the novels will be done. For anyone who follows this new award, just ask for the award nominees in the regular forum. That should do it.
