As you've undoubtedly noticed, I'm going with a Japanese flavor to the challenge as well. (And doing quite well, which reflects just how much of the stuff is being translated now.) I'm doing one leg of the stool: anime, manga, games, light novels. Light novels, the breading grounds (usually) for the others - unless you're talking about a series where that isn't the case, which seems rarer and rarer these days. Talk about productive. It's like the pulp work US authors did during the 30ies - 50ies or something. They get paid to crank it out. That's for sure.
