Biography
Jaym Gates is an editor, author, and communications specialist, working primarily in the publishing and nonprofit sectors. Her work as editor includes the anthologies War Stories, Broken Time Blues, Genius Loci, and the zombie anthology Rigor Amortis, which was a Barnes and Noble Top 10 pick in 2011.
She has written numerous pieces of short fiction and nonfiction, and has been published in The Aether Age: Helios, Goldfish Grimm, and Heroes! She has a strong background in organizing, supporting and launching Kickstarter projects, such as Geek Love.
She has presented at numerous workshops and events, and recently proposed a system of communications for interstellar civilization at the 100 Year Starship Symposium. She is the Communications Director for the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.
